Blyth Valley Arts and Leisure's
Make-a-Move Leisure Inclusion Team organise a wealth of activities
for ALL ages!
Some of the activities are based in the leisure centres, but many
of the activities are out and about, and right on your
doorstep!

Ability to Play helps
children with disabilities to achieve their potential through
sport.
If you are a young disabled person with any ability to do sport,
and you would like to access sporting opportunities then this
for you!
These great sessions are
aimed at under 5's. Do you have an active pre-school child who
loves to play with bats and balls? Is your tot a budding
singer and dancer?
We can give your child space to play, help with their
co-ordination and balance, as well as providing lots of music,
movement and...FUN!
There are absolutely LOADS
of activities available during term-time and in the holidays for
the 5-16 age range. Have you ever tried surfing, fishing, body
boarding, cheerleading, mountain biking...its all here and
SO MUCH MORE!
From basketball sessions to Midnight Soccer Leagues to
fitness classes and dance classes...even mud packs! There is
something for everyone here!
Ever tried a boxercise
class? Fancy a game of carpet bowls or a bit of a dance? Have a
look at what the Make-a-Move team can offer you...you might be
surprised!
If you would like information on joining a local sports club, some
advice on setting up your own sports club, or even advice to get
information and grants for an existing club, then we can help. The
Sports and Leisure Development team can also give information on
coaching, volunteering and participating in any sport.
Learn more about how talented youngsters in the fields of sport,
arts, music and science fields can access funding to help with
costs towards attending centres of excellence.
